Richard joined Colin Biggers & Paisley's property and development team in 2020 and became a senior associate in 2023. Richard has over 10 years of experience in litigation including, property disputes, estate litigations, commercial disputes and general civil litigation. 

Richard's practice is mainly divided between property disputes and estate litigation. On the property side, Richard acts on disputes in relation to sale contracts, option deeds, retail and commercial leases, easements, strata matters and all types of property litigation. His clients include developers and strata schemes, vendors and purchasers, landlords and tenants.

Richard also acts on behalf of executors and beneficiaries, charities and faith-based organisations in estate disputes and will challenges, including claims relating to further provision from an estate, informal documents, testamentary capacity, undue influence and notional estate matters. 

Richard was admitted as a solicitor in 2012 and he holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Business Administration. His familiarity with the realities of doing business informs his commitment to providing advice that is both practical and commercial.

Out of the office Richard enjoys archery, overseas travel, road trips, keeping in touch with old friends and good whisky.
