About the role:

This role is a key member of our Brand, Clients & Markets (BC&M) team.  Our BC&M team work across the practice to develop and deliver the BD & Marketing strategy, positioning the practice in market to win work and keep our clients.  

This role will work closely with our BD Managers (BDMs) and BD Advisers (BDAs) across the practice to:
  • Support the development of practice and industry group workplans and to progress group BD and marketing activities.
  • Develop and deliver with our Brand & Comms and CX & Events teams market campaigns, events and sponsorships that profile our expertise, engage intended audience and drive demand activity.
  • Support partners to plan for and progress a pursuit, including research and preparation of packs.
  • Prepare capability statements and work with tender teams on larger tenders and bids.
  • Coordinate the practice's response to directory submissions, and at times have responsibility for drafting responses.
  • Undertake a strategic account coordinator role with clients in the practice's client program supporting the account planning process and associated activities, reporting, and contract and tender administration.
  • Support the client voice activities for groups, including preparing for client listening meetings.
  • Prepare regular and ad hoc reporting and analysis on clients, revenue, marketing performance and other metrics.
  • Provide organisational support across the BD team including (but not limited to) tender, referral and client feedback tracking, client referrals and key client reporting.  
The successful candidate will have:
  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing, business or communications.
  • An interest in data gathering and use, artificial intelligence and its application to professional services marketing.
  • Commercial nous, with an interest in the economy and the mechanics of business, and a focus on goal setting and measurable outcomes.
  • Must have coordination experience in a professional services environment.
  • Excellent customer service and client-centric work ethic.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Sound knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • A team player with strong verbal and written communication skills.
