About the role:
  
This is an exciting opportunity for a Legal Assistant to work in our busy litigation practice. You will be an integral member of the team providing administrative and ad-hoc assistance.
  • Managing complex litigation matters
  • Document management working on large scale litigation matters
  • Scheduling appointments, including diary management and travel arrangements
  • Client and stakeholder liaison
  • Preparing and drafting legal documents
  • Opening and closing files
  • Preparing cost agreements
  • Conducting conflict checking
  • Billing (Software Elite 3E)
  • Filing (predominantly electronic)
  • Processing receipts
About you:
  • 5 years plus experience in a similar role working in complex or large litigation matters
  • Litigation experience is essential as preparation of legal documentation is required
  • Billing experience would be preferable
  • Excellent customer service ethic with a focus on providing a high level of service
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytic and problem solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent administration and organisation skills
  • Sound knowledge and experience of Microsoft products
  • Confidentiality, sensitivity and integrity across all aspects of the role
  • Ability to work to deadlines
