Overview

Colin Biggers & Paisley has been at the centre of Dunstan's professional career since he joined the legal practice as a graduate solicitor in 1985. He became a partner in 1993, practising primarily in property development, and was managing partner from 2007 to 2017. 

Dunstan’s commitment to, and deep understanding of the legal practice and industry has enabled him to significantly build the success of Colin Biggers & Paisley. Under Dunstan’s stewardship, Colin Biggers & Paisley evolved into a firm that is known for delivering outcome focused solutions, particularly in the specialisations of insurance, construction, property and commercial litigation. 

Colin Biggers & Paisley is a member of ADVOC, an international network of respected law firms established to help clients respond to opportunities and challenges across the globe. He was a founding member of ADVOC Asia, serving as President from 2002-2014.

Dunstan holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Laws. He was admitted as a solicitor on 5 July 1985 and is a member of the Law Society New South Wales.

Dunstan holds a number of board and executive positions, including Governor the College of Law Australia, Chair of the NSW Chapter Board of the College of Law, Director of the Civic Disability Services Limited Board, several roles for the Order of Malta in Australia and Public Officer for Cronulla Sutherland Water Polo Club.
