Lois joined Colin Biggers & Paisley as a graduate in 2019 and became a senior associate in the restructuring and insolvency team in 2023.
Lois specialises in restructuring, insolvency, and commercial litigation. She provides bespoke advice for insolvency practitioners, secured creditors and company directors in respect of insolvency-related corporate and commercial matters.
Lois also undertakes complex corporate and resources litigation and has a proven track record of obtaining optimal outcomes for clients.
Lois holds a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) and Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. She also completed the ARITA Advanced Certification in 2022 and achieved the highest mark in the Advanced Insolvency subject for Queensland. Lois was admitted to practice in Queensland in 2019.
Lois is currently serving her third term on the Women in Insolvency and Restructuring Queensland committee.
In 2022, Lois was named as a finalist in the Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 awards in the Insolvency and Restructuring category.
Outside of work, Lois is a keen home cook and enjoys spending time with her fiancé Josh and their three year old spoodle, Dudley.
