A senior associate in Colin Biggers & Paisley's property and development team since 2022, Marina's role encompasses a range of responsibilities where she assists clients from the commencement phase of a project through to its completion and beyond. She regularly advises on property acquisitions and disposals, manages, negotiates and prepares off-the-plan and post-registration contracts, leasing and conducts all aspects of legal due diligence. 

Marina has a large client portfolio of Australian and international developers and investors and deals with a range of property related issues such as financing, land-use constraints, GAIC, owners corporations and foreign investment review board approval. She also assists clients with commercial and retail leasing from both landlord and tenant perspectives. 

Marina's current projects include land and built-form residential, mixed use, retail and office projects. 

With over 10 years of industry knowledge and experience, she is able to provide her clients with commercially viable advice and tailored solutions to achieve their development and investment goals. 

Marina has advised market-leading corporations on iconic deals including the development of Melbourne's largest residential tower - a $2.8 billion building complex comprising of residential, hotel and commercial, multiple acquisitions and realisations of master planned mixed use communities such as Woodlea and Olivine, the acquisition of Rundle Place Shopping Centre and running and managing GPT Group’s industrial leasehold sites.

Marina holds a Bachelor of Business and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours). She was admitted to practice in 2011 in the Supreme Court of Victoria.

When away from the desk, Marina enjoys spending time with her two young children Angelo and Sophia travelling to warm destinations, cooking Greek desserts and unwinding with a good tv-series and wine.
