He assists clients to respond to claims in the Federal Court of Australia, the Federal Circuit Court of Australia, and in tribunals including the Fair Work Commission, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) and the Australian Human Rights Commission.
Zaid particularly focuses on claims relating to unfair dismissal, general protections, discrimination, bullying, sexual harassment, underpayments, redundancies and breach of contract.
Zaid adopts a pragmatic approach to resolving legal disputes where possible, and also has extensive experience in alternative dispute resolutions methods, such as mediations and judicial settlement conferences.
Zaid holds a Bachelor of Laws and was admitted to practice in the High Court of New Zealand in October 2015 and was admitted in Victoria in June 2023.
