Colin Biggers & Paisley deepens capability across key practice areas through promotions and strategic appointments
Colin Biggers & Paisley has announced its latest senior promotions and appointments across its national practice.
Sian Jones (Sydney) and Stephen Webb (Brisbane) have been promoted to partner in the practice's Property & Development group. They join recently appointed partners Jennifer Robbins (Insurance, Brisbane) and Blake Frost and Kayla Causer (Construction, Brisbane).
Ten lawyers have also been promoted, with a further twelve senior appointments joining the practice across Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne in property, construction, insurance, corporate and commercial and pro bono.

About those promoted
Sian has extensive experience in complex commercial litigation, specialising in property advisory, development disputes and trade practices matters. She has acted for a broad range of clients including developers, landowners and joint venture participants and has significant experience in dispute resolution, including mediation and expert determination.
Stephen advises on end-to-end property development, supporting clients through the full lifecycle of projects across residential, commercial and industrial sectors. He also advises on broader property transactions and leasing matters.
Jack has significant litigation experience acting as defence counsel for building professionals in building and construction disputes. He also regularly provides advice to Australian and UK-based insurers on indemnity and other coverage-related issues.
Basel advises principals, contractors, subcontractors and consultants on a broad range of complex construction and infrastructure matters. His practice spans contract drafting and negotiation, project delivery advice and dispute resolution, including security of payment claims and proceedings in courts and tribunals.
Mollie practices across a range of planning and environment matters, including development appeals, judicial reviews and civil and criminal enforcement matters and advises private developers on complex planning and environmental law issues.
Zaid specialises in employment practices liability claims, advising and representing insurers and insureds in responding to claims across multiple jurisdictions. He also has experience acting in complex and large-scale class actions.
Gabrielle advises insurers across professional indemnity and general liability claims. She also acts for commercial property owners, real estate agents, property managers, occupiers, contractors and their insurers in property damage and public liability matters.
Victoria specialises in property dispute resolution, with a background in strata and insurance law. She acts for companies, owners corporations, associations, property owners and insurers and has extensive commercial litigation experience, particularly in strata law.
Abbi has strong construction and commercial litigation experience and advises on a range of construction and engineering disputes, acting for principals, contractors, subcontractors and consultants.
Shea specialises in private M&A, investments and joint ventures. He advises founders, investors and businesses on transactions across the investment lifecycle, from initial funding through to acquisitions and exits.
